Fellowship in Uro-oncology and Robotic Surgery

The Robotic Urologic Oncology Fellowship is a 12-month non-ACGME fellowship focused on advanced training in robotic prostatectomy, minimally invasive urologic oncology, and robotic surgical platforms. Fellows participate in 250+ robotic and minimally invasive cases, with training on da Vinci Xi and SP platforms, MRI/TRUS fusion prostate biopsies, focal therapies such as HIFU and cryoablation, and Aquablation. The program also provides opportunities in clinical and basic science research, GU Tumor Board, resident teaching, grand rounds, and journal clubs.

1. Applicants through the Endourological Society Match must submit their application, CV, 3 letters of recommendation, and surgical case log to the fellowship coordinator.
2. Applicants not using the Endourological Society Match should complete the USC online fellowship application.
3. Applications should be submitted by March 1 of the current cycle, during the penultimate year of residency.
4. Applicants are reviewed and selected by the program.
5. The selected candidate must obtain/hold the required California Physicians and Surgeons License before starting the fellowship.
6. The fellowship is a 12-month commitment from August 1 through July 31.
