The Urologic Oncology Fellowship at UCSF School of Medicine provides multidisciplinary training in the comprehensive management of urologic cancers, including prostate, bladder, renal, testicular, penile, and other genitourinary malignancies. The program combines clinical urologic oncology training with dedicated laboratory, clinical, and outcomes research. Fellows gain experience in outpatient evaluation, multidisciplinary oncology conferences, and a broad range of procedures including major open surgery, complex reconstruction, laparoscopic oncology, and other advanced urologic cancer procedures. Research opportunities include prostate cancer, bladder cancer, renal cell carcinoma, genomic alterations, tumor immunology, androgen receptor biology, novel drug evaluation, and biomarker research.
