The Skull Base Neurosurgery Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine provides advanced training in complex intracranial and skull base surgery, with emphasis on microsurgical, endoscopic, endonasal and minimally invasive techniques. Fellows participate in operative cases, skull base clinics, multidisciplinary tumor and skull base boards, and cadaveric microsurgical training at the Center for Surgical Innovation (CSI). The program also includes clinical and basic research, surgical anatomy studies, publications, presentations and teaching activities, preparing fellows for independent skull base practice and an academic career.
