The Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship at UAB Heersink School of Medicine is a three-year advanced training program focused on the diagnosis and management of infertility and reproductive endocrine disorders. Fellows receive comprehensive clinical and surgical training in areas such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF), assisted reproductive technologies, reproductive surgery, transvaginal ultrasound, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, male infertility, and early pregnancy loss. The program also provides extensive research training in clinical, translational, and basic reproductive science, preparing fellows for careers in academic medicine and specialized reproductive endocrinology and infertility practice.
