Fellowship in Renal Pathology

The Renal Pathology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center provides advanced subspecialty training in the evaluation and diagnosis of native and transplant kidney diseases. Fellows gain experience in light microscopy, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy, along with clinical-pathologic correlation and independent case evaluation. The program also includes renal pathology consultations, multidisciplinary conferences, teaching activities and opportunities for clinical or translational research.

1. Complete the Cedars-Sinai Pathology Fellowship Application and select Renal Pathology.
2. Submit an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
3. Submit a personal statement describing your interest in renal pathology.
4. Provide the required letters of recommendation.
5. Submit medical school and pathology residency training documentation.
6. Provide applicable United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) examination results.
7. International Medical Graduates must provide applicable Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) documentation.
8. Submit required medical licensing and credentialing information.
9. Eligible applicants are considered for an interview and selection by the fellowship program.
10. Selected applicants must complete Cedars-Sinai's Graduate Medical Education appointment and credentialing requirements before starting the fellowship.
