The Reconstructive Urologic Surgery Fellowship at the University of Illinois College of Medicine (UICOM), Chicago is a 12-month advanced clinical fellowship focused on specialized training in reconstructive urology, genital reconstruction, and uro-genital dysfunction. The program provides comprehensive exposure to female, functional, and reconstructive urology, with emphasis on complex reconstructive procedures including vaginoplasty, urethroplasty, metoidioplasty, and flap/graft harvesting techniques. Fellows gain hands-on surgical experience, outpatient clinical training, multidisciplinary care exposure, participation in research activities, and academic conferences to develop expertise in advanced reconstructive urologic surgery and prepare for independent clinical practice and future academic roles.
