The Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellowship is a one-year fellowship for plastic surgery graduates, providing comprehensive training in microsurgery with an emphasis on free-tissue transfer for complex reconstruction of the breast, trunk, upper and lower extremities, lymphedema, and head and neck defects. Fellows gain high-volume operative experience, averaging more than 150 flaps per year, along with basic and clinical research opportunities and mentored semi-independent surgical experience at Los Angeles General Medical Center.
