The Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at UCSF School of Medicine, San Francisco is an ACGME-accredited program that provides comprehensive training in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of sports-related injuries and exercise-related conditions. The fellowship emphasizes excellence in patient care, clinical research, teaching, and community outreach, preparing physicians to become leaders in sports medicine. Fellows gain in-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal medicine, biomechanics, and exercise physiology, and learn to integrate this expertise into a primary care–based practice while working with diverse patient populations, including athletes and active individuals.
