Fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Fellowship is a two-year ACGME-accredited fellowship offering comprehensive training in pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation. Fellows receive clinical experience in inpatient pediatric rehabilitation, consultation services, outpatient rehabilitation, research, and elective rotations. Training covers conditions such as cerebral palsy, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neuromuscular disorders, limb differences, spinal defects, and gait disorders. Fellows also develop procedural skills in botulinum toxin and phenol treatments, intrathecal baclofen pump management, EMG/nerve conduction studies, and SDR neuromonitoring. The curriculum includes multidisciplinary conferences, core lectures, research and quality/safety education, outreach clinics, and telehealth opportunities.

2. Submit a personal statement
3. Submit a CV including work experience, volunteer activities, leadership, research, and publications
4. Submit USMLE or COMLEX board scores
5. Submit the Dean’s Letter/MSPE or, for eligible international applicants, an ECFMG Certificate
6. Submit at least 3 letters of recommendation; one should be from the PM&R Residency Program Director, and a letter from a Pediatric Physiatrist is strongly recommended
7. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with July submission strongly encouraged; the stated review deadline is August 31
8. Selected candidates are invited for a virtual interview
9. The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for 2 PGY-5 positions each year
