The Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine offers comprehensive subspecialty training in the management of orthopedic conditions affecting children from infancy through adolescence. Fellows gain extensive experience treating congenital musculoskeletal disorders, pediatric fractures, scoliosis, hip disorders, limb deformities, sports injuries, and neuromuscular conditions. The curriculum emphasizes advanced operative techniques, multidisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based care, and participation in research and quality improvement initiatives. Training at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, a nationally recognized pediatric referral center, provides exposure to a broad spectrum of complex orthopedic cases. Fellows also participate in resident and medical student education under the mentorship of expert faculty. Graduates are exceptionally well prepared for careers in academic pediatric orthopaedic surgery and specialized clinical practice.
