Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology

• Must have an MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree.
• Must have completed or be completing an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency Program.
• Must meet the University of Illinois Graduate Medical Education (GME) requirements for fellowship appointment.
• Must fulfill U.S. medical licensure and credentialing requirements.
• International Medical Graduates (IMGs) must have ECFMG certification and meet applicable visa requirements.
• Must apply through ERAS and participate in the NRMP Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Match.

The Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship is a 3-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship program that provides advanced training in the diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. Fellows gain comprehensive clinical experience in the evaluation and treatment of diabetes mellitus, growth disorders, thyroid diseases, adrenal and pituitary disorders, obesity, disorders of puberty, bone and mineral metabolism, and disorders of sexual development. The program combines extensive inpatient and outpatient clinical training with opportunities in clinical and translational research, quality improvement, multidisciplinary care, teaching, and scholarly activities, preparing graduates for independent practice and academic careers in pediatric endocrinology.
