The Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School combines clinical, research, and didactic training in the diagnosis and management of pediatric skin disorders. Fellows primarily train through pediatric dermatology clinics, with dedicated procedural, elective, continuity-clinic, and research time. Additional exposure is available through neurofibromatosis, rheumatology, and patch-testing clinics. Fellows also participate in Dermatology Grand Rounds, pediatric dermatology divisional rounds, and pediatric resident teaching, with increasing clinical independence under faculty supervision.
