Fellowship in Palliative Care

Overview

The six- month online course is designed as a distance education program based on principles of adult learning. Duration of the course will be sixty hours. Online sessions will start on 1 February.
Schedule of Online sessions:
1 February – 6 February (6 hours / day x 5 days = 30 hours)
First Monday of every month from March to July (6 hours/ day x 5 days = 30 hours)
In addition, the candidate is estimated to spend an additional 80 hours over six months for other activities related to the course:
• Preparation of presentations
• Online sessions with mentors
• Learning through key videos and resources made available online
• Preparation and submission of assignments
• Peer evaluation of assignments
• Participation in the discussion fora

The Fellowship program will have:

1. Online sessions which includes didactic sessions, group discussions and presentations by candidates.
2. Interactive sessions/ mentoring online.
3. Assignments: the candidate is expected complete five written assignments during the course.
4. Mentorship: trainees will be linked with Mentors throughout the course for online discussions and guidance.

Course Fee for the Master Class is INR 7500 (US$ 100)

 

Eligibility

Any doctor with MBBS or BDS with corresponding medical/ dental council registration can apply for this course.
