Fellowship in Onco Imaging

The Oncologic Imaging Fellowship at UC Irvine School of Medicine is a specialized advanced training program focused on comprehensive imaging of cancer patients through a multidisciplinary approach. The fellowship provides in-depth exposure to tumor detection, staging, treatment planning, and response assessment using advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and PET-CT, integrating expertise from subspecialties like abdominal, cardiothoracic, and nuclear medicine imaging. Fellows gain extensive experience in interpreting complex oncologic cases across various organ systems and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, clinical decision-making, and research activities, enhancing both diagnostic accuracy and academic development. This structured training prepares fellows to become experts in oncologic radiology, capable of contributing to cancer care in both clinical and academic settings.
