Fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology

The Neurosurgical Oncology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center provides advanced clinical and academic training in the surgical management of complex brain and spinal tumors. Fellows gain extensive experience with primary and metastatic tumors, skull base and trans-sphenoidal surgery, advanced brain mapping, endoscopic neurosurgery, intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging, and stereotactic radiosurgery. The program also includes participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards, brain tumor clinics, clinical trials, operative procedures, and research, allowing fellows to develop comprehensive expertise in neurosurgical oncology.

1. Prepare the required application documents.
2. Submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
3. Provide three letters of recommendation.
4. Submit a one-page personal statement explaining interest in neurosurgical oncology.
5. Provide one passport-size photograph.
6. Submit the application materials to the fellowship program.
7. The program reviews applications and selects candidates for interviews.
8. Selected applicants participate in an interview with the fellowship faculty.
9. Candidates selected for appointment complete Cedars-Sinai credentialing, licensing, and Graduate Medical Education onboarding requirements.
