Fellowship in Neuroradiology

1. MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
2. Completion of the required Diagnostic Radiology training before starting the Neuroradiology Fellowship. The Neuroradiology (DR) pathway requires 5 years of prior graduate medical education.
3. Applicants must meet Cedars-Sinai GME eligibility requirements.
4. USMLE/COMLEX: Current Cedars-Sinai program information requires USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 for U.S. MD and IMG applicants; DO applicants must have passed COMLEX Level 1 and Level 2, as well as USMLE Step 1 and Step 2.
5. Letters of recommendation: Minimum 2 letters, including a letter from someone in the specialty and a program director letter.
6. IMGs: Must meet applicable ECFMG and U.S. licensing requirements. Cedars-Sinai's current listing does not sponsor J-1 or H-1B visas for this program.

The Neuroradiology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai provides advanced subspecialty training in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders through medical imaging. Fellows gain experience in brain, spine, head and neck imaging using MRI, CT and other advanced techniques, along with exposure to stroke and neurointerventional services. The program includes multidisciplinary collaboration with neurology, neurosurgery and related specialties, as well as conferences, didactic teaching, clinical case discussions and research opportunities.

1. Complete the required Diagnostic Radiology residency/training.
2. Prepare the application, including CV, personal statement, examination records and letters of recommendation.
3. Submit the application through ERAS.
4. The program reviews applications and selects candidates for interview.
5. Attend the virtual interview if selected.
6. Participate in the NRMP fellowship/Advanced or Fellowship Match.
7. Complete California licensing, credentialing and Cedars-Sinai GME onboarding requirements.
8. Begin the 1-year Neuroradiology Fellowship.
