The Fellowship in Neuro-Oncology at UC Irvine School of Medicine, Irvine is a UCNS-accredited advanced fellowship that provides specialized clinical and research training in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of primary and metastatic brain tumors and the neurological complications of cancer. Fellows gain multidisciplinary experience by working with neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, neuropathologists, radiation oncologists, and medical oncologists in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The program emphasizes comprehensive neuro-oncology care, neuroimaging, multidisciplinary tumor board participation, clinical trials, and translational research. The first year focuses on advanced clinical training, while an optional second year offers dedicated clinical or laboratory research, preparing fellows for careers in neuro-oncology, academic medicine, and clinical research.
