Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging & Intervention

1. Medical degree: MD or equivalent medical degree.
2. Radiology training: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency is expected for a subspecialty MSK radiology fellowship.
3. International medical graduates (IMGs): Must meet the applicable U.S. postgraduate medical training/credentialing requirements.
4. Additional requirements: Candidates should satisfy USC/NRMP requirements applicable to the fellowship appointment.

The Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship at Keck School of Medicine of USC is a comprehensive one-year fellowship designed to provide advanced training in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal radiology. Fellows gain extensive clinical exposure to musculoskeletal disorders across oncology, sports medicine, rheumatology, infection, metabolic disease, and trauma. Training includes interpretation of radiographs, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and PET/CT, along with image-guided procedures such as arthrography, biopsies, and therapeutic injections. Fellows also participate in multidisciplinary conferences with orthopedic surgery, orthopedic oncology, sports medicine, and rheumatology teams and have opportunities for clinical research and scholarly activities.
