Fellowship in Movement Disorders

1. MD or equivalent medical degree
2. Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
3. Applicants should be eligible for the required California medical licensure
4. The fellowship is intended for neurologists seeking specialized training in movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and dystonia.

The USC Movement Disorder Fellowship Program is designed to train neurologists as experts in the diagnosis and management of movement disorders, with a strong focus on Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, botulinum toxin therapy, surgical evaluation, and deep brain stimulation (DBS). The program combines didactic teaching, outpatient and inpatient clinical experience, clinical research, basic science exposure, and opportunities for independent professional development.

2. Submit the required application documents, including CV and letters of recommendation
3. Applications are reviewed by the fellowship program
4. Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview
5. Final selection is made by the fellowship program
