Overview
- The Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Delhi Chapter is offering Travelling Fellowship at high volume and state of the art centers in the field of Minimally Invasive Surgical Oncology and Bariatric Surgery.
- Each Center will provide a Fellowship for one registered member of the Delhi-ASI per year, sponsored by the ASI Delhi, abiding by the rules and regulations drafted by the national parent body, the ASI.
- The Fellowship will have to be availed in the same year and will not be allowed to be carried forward for subsequent years.
- The ASI Delhi is announcing and selecting Travelling Fellowship centres every year across India.
- The selected candidate will spend a period of 2 weeks in the designated centre for the selected fellowship to update their knowledge and skills in a given surgical speciality.
- The ASI Delhi will provide a sponsorship of INR 25,000/- per candidate for the Travelling Fellowship on successful awarding of the fellowship.
- A life member of ASI Delhi can apply for only one Travelling Fellowship in any one year.

INR 25,000 per candidate for the Travelling Fellowship upon successful award of the fellowship.
Eligibility
- Life membership of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) and the ASI Delhi Chapter.
- Post-graduation qualification in General Surgery or equivalent from a recognized institute.

Admission Process:
- The curriculum vitae of the applicant with details of the ASI membership.
- A certificate of good standing, issued by the parent institute where the surgeon is working
- Degree certificate and DMC/ State registration/ MCI registration certificate.
- The applications will be scrutinised by a Committee appointed by the President for the purpose, and the decision of the Committee will be final.
- On completion of the training, the candidate must send a detailed report on the Training obtained to the Secretary, ASI Delhi along with the certificate and Log Book signed by the guide for the Fellowship on or before the completion of 1 month after finishing the training at the centre.
- A certificate will be given after completion of the Fellowship formalities at the time of the Annual Conference of ASI Delhi in the month of November every year.
