Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program is a 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship designed to prepare physicians for academic careers and advanced practice as perinatal consultants. Training includes high-risk obstetrics, antepartum care, diabetes management, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, genetic amniocentesis, fetal blood sampling and transfusion, and placental biopsies. Fellows also gain exposure to fetal anomalies and fetal interventions at Children’s Hospital Colorado, including laser treatment for TTTS and in-utero myelomeningocele repair. The program provides at least 1 year of protected research time, along with clinical training, electives, extensive didactic education, and opportunities for research in placental biology, fetal physiology, reproductive biology, prenatal diagnosis, clinical research, fetal intervention, and infectious diseases.

1. Register with the NRMP
2. Submit the required ERAS application
3. Submit CREOG scores by email to fellowships.
4. Clearly mention in the email that you are applying for the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship
5. Complete the application and submit all required supporting documents through ERAS
6. Shortlisted applicants are invited for an interview
7. Final selection is conducted through the applicable NRMP fellowship process
