Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology

The Interventional Cardiology Fellowship is a 1-year ACGME-accredited program focused on advanced training in coronary, peripheral, and structural heart disease. Fellows train in state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratories and participate in the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including patient evaluation, catheterization procedures, post-procedure care, and documentation. The program also provides exposure to pulmonary hypertension, transplant cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease. Fellows participate in clinical research protocols and receive training at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital, Denver Health, and Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, preparing them for careers as academically oriented or community-based interventional cardiologists.

1. Submit the application through ERAS – July Cycle
2. Complete the ERAS application
3. Submit 3 letters of recommendation
4. Provide USMLE scores
5. Include publications in the application
6. The program reviews applications and invites selected candidates for interviews
7. Final selection is conducted through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP)
