Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology

• Hold an MD or equivalent medical degree
• Have completed a Cardiovascular Disease (General Cardiology) Fellowship
• Be board eligible or board certified in cardiology
• Provide USMLE scores
• Submit ECFMG certification (for international graduates)
• Possess a valid U.S. visa/work authorization (H1-B visa not sponsored)

The Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at UICOM is a 1-year advanced subspecialty program designed to provide intensive training in catheter-based cardiovascular procedures and the management of complex heart diseases. The program combines hands-on clinical experience with a strong didactic curriculum, allowing fellows to develop expertise in procedures such as coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions. Fellows train in a collaborative academic environment with exposure to multidisciplinary care, while also engaging in clinical and basic research activities, with an expectation to complete at least one scholarly project during the fellowship.
