Eligibility
- Must have completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Must hold an MD or equivalent medical degree
- Must be eligible for Internal Medicine board certification
- International Medical Graduates must meet ECFMG certification requirements
- Must submit a complete ERAS application
- Applicants should provide required supporting documents, including:

- Letters of Recommendation
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE scores (if applicable)
- Must meet U.S. training and visa requirements (UIC sponsors J-1/H-1 visas for selected applicants)

Admission Process:
- Submit Application Through ERAS
- Applicants must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
- Register for NRMP Match
- The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Infectious Diseases Fellowship Match.
- Applicants are responsible for registering with both ERAS and NRMP.
