About Course

The USC Headache Fellowship Program is a one-year UCNS-accredited fellowship providing advanced clinical training in the diagnosis and multidisciplinary management of complex headache and facial pain disorders. Fellows gain experience with headache evaluation and treatment procedures, including nerve blocks, trigger-point injections, Botox, SPG blocks, and infusion therapies, while working with specialists in pain medicine, neuroradiology, neurosurgery, pain psychology, and rehabilitation. The program also provides opportunities for clinical/translational research, presentations, and publications.

Admission Process

Current CV
Personal statement
3 letters of recommendation, including one from the residency Program Director
USMLE/COMLEX scores
Send the application documents directly to Monica Chavez, Academic Program Assistant.
The fellowship program reviews the applications.
Shortlisted applicants are considered for the program's selection/interview process.
Successful candidates are selected for the one-year Headache Fellowship.
