The Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at UAB Heersink School of Medicine provides advanced, comprehensive training in the surgical management of head and neck cancers and complex reconstructive conditions. The one-year fellowship offers extensive experience in head and neck oncologic surgery, endocrine surgery, microvascular reconstruction, endoscopic skull base surgery, and multidisciplinary cancer care. Fellows work closely with experienced faculty and specialists while developing advanced operative skills, clinical decision-making, research capabilities, and academic expertise. The program also provides exposure to multidisciplinary tumor boards, clinical and basic research, and opportunities for teaching and professional development.
