The Foot and Ankle Fellowship at UAB Heersink School of Medicine provides advanced clinical and surgical training in the comprehensive management of adult foot and ankle conditions. Fellows gain hands-on experience in conservative treatment, foot and ankle trauma, arthroscopy, total ankle replacement, Achilles tendon reconstruction, complex hindfoot procedures, and other reconstructive surgeries. Training includes clinical care, operative experience, research, weekly conferences, journal clubs, and teaching alongside orthopaedic surgery residents and faculty.
