Fellowship in Epidemiology

This one-year fellowship provides advanced hands-on exposure in:

• Epidemiologic study design and analysis (cohort, case-control, cross-sectional)
• Disease surveillance systems, outbreak investigation, and control strategies
• Biostatistics, data management, and public health outcome research
• Practical training through field assignments, project work, and seminars

Research thesis is typically required. Trainees develop competencies valuable for public health agencies, NGOs, and epidemiologic research.

MD / DNB in Community Medicine or equivalent

Valid medical council registration

Submission of application (CV, academic records, registration, ID, professional membership)

Selection based on interview/merit; membership in IPHA/IAPSM given preference
