Fellowship in Development and Behavioral Pediatrics

1. Must have completed residency from an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited program in the United States or Canada.
2. Applicants from other states and countries are eligible to apply.
3. Must obtain a California Medical License before starting the fellowship.
4. J-1 visa holders are eligible to apply.
5. Applicants must meet the applicable medical licensing and medical school recognition requirements.

The Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Program is a three-year fellowship designed to provide advanced training in the evaluation and management of children and adolescents with developmental, behavioral, and emotional conditions. The program combines comprehensive clinical training with research, teaching, leadership, advocacy, and community-based experiences to prepare fellows for careers in academic and clinical developmental-behavioral pediatrics.

1. Apply through the Association of American Medical Colleges Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
2. Submit the medical school transcript, three letters of recommendation, personal statement, current curriculum vitae, United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) transcript, and Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) or Dean's Letter.
3. Paper applications are not accepted.
4. Selected applicants are invited for interviews, generally during September–October.
5. The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
6. Applicants must complete the matching process and obtain a California Medical License before fellowship commencement.
