Overview

    Clinical Exposure:

    • Various Corneal Disorders, External Eye Disorders
    • Refractive Surgery
    • Cataract surgery including topical phacoemulsification.

    Investigations:

    Corneal Tomography, Aberrometry, Specular Microscopy, Automated Keratometry, IOL Master 700, Work Up for Refractive Procedures, Corneal Ulcer Work Up, Eye Bank Procedures.

    Procedures (Performed independently):

    • Phacoemulsification including topical cases.
    • Penetrating Keratoplasty (Therapeutic and optical)
    • Lamellar keratoplasty,
    • Pterygium Excision with conjunctival autograft,
    • Procedures related to Ocular surface Disorders (Amniotic Membrane Grafts, Mucous Membrane Grafts, Keratoprosthesis: under supervision)
    • Corneal Refractive Procedures: Surface Ablation, Microkeratome LASIK, Femtosecond LASIK, Small Incision Lenticule Extraction,
    • Phakic IOL’s, Refractive cataract surgery (Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery): under supervision.
    • Programme will include Case Discussions, Seminars, Clinical Meeting Presentations, Periodic assessment, maintenance of log book and final exit examination.
    • Free single accommodation available.
