The Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at the University of Illinois College of Medicine (UICOM), Chicago is a 1-year comprehensive clinical fellowship program focused on advanced training in corneal diseases, external ocular disorders, anterior segment surgery, and refractive surgery. The fellowship provides extensive hands-on experience in corneal transplantation, complex cataract surgery, anterior segment reconstruction, ocular surface disease management, trauma care, and refractive procedures including LASIK. Fellows participate in supervised clinical care, surgical training, research activities, and resident teaching through the UIC Cornea Clinic, Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, University of Illinois Hospital, Jesse Brown VA Hospital, and affiliated refractive surgery centers.
