Fellowship in Contact Lenses

Overview

This six‑month fellowship provides intensive clinical exposure in contact lens specialty practice. Participants engage in comprehensive contact lens evaluations, learn to select and fit lenses based on corneal anatomy and patient needs, and troubleshoot issues across a range of cases— including toric, multifocal, pediatric, and irregular corneas. The curriculum emphasizes safe, scientifically grounded practice, under expert mentorship. Fellows attend departmental meetings, case discussions, and didactic sessions to refine both clinical and academic skills. Small batch size (4 fellows/year) ensures close faculty interaction and personalized learning.

Eligibility

B.Sc. Optometry (1+ year clinical experience) or Diploma with 2+ years experience

Selection based on eligibility review, skill assessment, knowledge evaluation, and personal interview
