About Course

The Fellowship in contact lens is an intensively clinical program to give practical and hands on exposure to students in the sub speciality of contact lenses fitting, both at basic and advanced levels.

Objective:

To increase safe and standard contact lens practice and knowledge on scientific contact lens fitting
To improve problem solving capabilities with emerging trends of contact lens practice.
To understand the basic and contact lens fitting methods
To understand the relationship between cornea and contact lens
To do a comprehensive contact lens work up
To understand the selection of safe lens for the right patient
To make appropriate referrals if required
To understand management of trouble shooting during contact lens fit
