Overview

    Optometry is a Primary Eye Care Science which covers the examination of human eye, Contact Lens, Orthoptics, Systems required for estimation of errors of refraction, the fitting, manufacturing and supply of optical aid Optometric must complete four years of graduate education (3 years of academics and 1 year of internship) at Indian accredited College or School of Optometry.

    CURRICULUM:

    • Contact lens; LVA and Computer vision syndrome
    • Refractive diagnostics and Biometry
    • Glaucoma Diagnostics
    • Pediatric Optometry and Orthoptics

    CODE OF CONDUCT:

    • The students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting the profession.
    • They should dress formally when attending lectures and when in the clinical areas
    • It is mandatory to wear the white apron with name tag when in the classroom and in the clinical areas
