Fellowship in Clinical Nephrology

The Nephrology Clinical Fellowship is a two-year clinical training program focused on comprehensive nephrology care and preparation for leadership in clinical medicine. Fellows rotate through renal consultative services, chronic dialysis services, and weekly continuity clinics, with the second year including inpatient nephrology, dialysis, electives, and dedicated scholarly time. Elective opportunities include glomerulonephritis, onconephrology, critical care nephrology, transplant, renal pathology, pediatric nephrology, toxicology, and kidney disease in pregnancy. Fellows also complete a scholarly project and a Quality Improvement project during the second year.

1. Apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)
2. Submit the ERAS application with a recent photograph
3. Provide a personal statement covering motivation for nephrology, expectations from the training program, and long-term professional goals
4. Submit 3 letters of recommendation
5. Submit your CV
6. Submit your medical school transcript
7. Submit your USMLE transcript
8. Selected applicants are contacted by email for an interview
9. Interviews are conducted virtually via Zoom
10. Successful applicants enter the 2-year Nephrology Clinical Fellowship
