Fellowship in Clinical Biochemical Genetics

• Open to candidates with MD and/or PhD degree in a relevant discipline such as genetics, biochemistry, or laboratory medicine
• Applicants should have appropriate prior training/experience in genetics or a related biomedical field (laboratory or clinical exposure preferred)
• Must meet requirements to pursue training leading to American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) certification
• Should have a strong foundation in biochemical genetics, molecular biology, and laboratory diagnostic techniques (as expected for this fellowship training)
• Candidates must be eligible for postdoctoral/fellowship training in the U.S. (visa/licensure requirements as applicable)
• Expected to fulfill academic requirements during training (e.g., coursework in advanced genetics and molecular mechanisms)

The Fellowship in Clinical Biochemical Genetics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHUSOM), Baltimore is a specialized training program designed to develop expertise in the diagnosis and management of inherited metabolic disorders through advanced laboratory techniques.
