Fellowship in Child Abuse Pediatrics

The Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School is an ACGME-accredited 3-year fellowship designed to train pediatricians as clinical, academic, educational, and administrative leaders in Child Abuse Pediatrics. Fellows receive advanced training in the diagnosis and management of child abuse and neglect, multidisciplinary investigation, expert witness testimony, advocacy, education, research, and policy. The program includes 24 months of clinical training and 12 months of scholarly activity, with increasing responsibility in patient care, teaching, research, and leadership throughout the fellowship

1. Apply through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service).
2. Submit the required application materials through ERAS.
3. Submit 3 letters of recommendation, preferably including one from the residency program director.
4. Register for the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
5. Participate in the program's application review and interview/selection process.
6. Complete the NRMP fellowship matching process for final placement.
