Fellowship in Central Nervous System (CNS) Endovascular Surgery

• Must have a medical degree (MD or equivalent)
• Must be a neurosurgery resident or have completed neurosurgery residency
• U.S. applicants: Training from an ACGME-accredited program
• International applicants:Must be a licensed medical graduate in home country
• Must have ECFMG certification

The Central Nervous System (CNS) Endovascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago is an advanced clinical training program focused on the minimally invasive, catheter-based treatment of cerebrovascular disorders. Fellows gain extensive hands-on experience in diagnostic cerebral angiography, stroke interventions, aneurysm coiling, and management of complex vascular conditions affecting the brain and spine. The program emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, integrating neurosurgery, neurology, and neuroradiology, while developing strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
