The Cardiothoracic Imaging and Intervention Fellowship at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is a one-year fellowship providing advanced training in pulmonary imaging, cardiac imaging, and thoracic interventions. Training includes high-resolution chest CT, lung cancer screening CT, cardiac CT and MRI for acquired and congenital heart disease, whole-body CTA/MRA, and CT-guided thoracic procedures such as percutaneous needle biopsy and pleural catheter placement. Fellows train at Keck Hospital of USC and Los Angeles General Medical Center, participate in multidisciplinary cardiothoracic conferences, teach residents and medical students, and have opportunities for research and electives.
