The Burn/Critical Care Fellowship at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is a one-year ACGME-accredited clinical fellowship based at the Burn Unit of Los Angeles General Medical Center. The program includes 8 months of Burn Unit training and 4 months of Surgical Critical Care, covering acute and reconstructive burn care, adult and pediatric intensive care, resuscitation, operative treatment, critical care, rehabilitation, and burn scar reconstruction. Fellows function as junior attendings in burn care and also have opportunities for basic science and clinical research. The training also makes fellows eligible for Surgical Critical Care CAQ certification.
