Fellowship in Basic Gastroenterology Endoscopy

The GI Endoscopy fellowship is designed to:

• Meet the medical need by providing well-trained endoscopists to the society.
• Provide excellent academic training in basic endoscopy.
• Train the students comprehensively in basic diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Help in acquisition of necessary skills required to perform basic endoscopic procedures.
• Correlate endoscopic findings with the clinical history and help in diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Help in understanding the indications of and alternatives to endoscopic procedures.
• Train the students in clinical research and case based studies.
• To imbibe humanistic and ethical aspects of patient care in the students.
• To inculcate harmonious teamwork.

Applicant should have done MD Medicine/ MS Surgery.
