The Advanced GI MIS/Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center provides advanced subspecialty training in gastrointestinal minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery. Fellows gain hands-on experience with advanced gastrointestinal procedures, primary and revisional bariatric operations, endoscopy, and gastrointestinal motility cases. The fellowship also includes weekly educational conferences, directed reading, case presentations, and multidisciplinary learning. Fellows participate in clinical research under faculty mentorship and receive training based on the curriculum of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the Fellowship Council.
