Overview

    • The Fellowship in Advance Difficult Airway Management is a specialized training program for Anesthesiologists who can improve their skills and get hands-on practice in Advance Airway Management. 
    • It has designed to improve airway management skills through, training on skill stations, lectures, group discussion, demonstrations and on patient clinical exposure
    • The program is affiliated by All India Difficult Airway Association (AIDAA).
    • The fellowship program is of minimum 3 months mandatory exposure to various procedures are compulsory before the fellow become eligible for the exam and certification.
    • In case of non exposure to the prescribed procedures, fellowship program can continue for longer than 3 months.
    • The fellow shall undergo evaluation by approved AIDAA examination centre at the end of program before receiving the fellowship certificate.
    • The KCHRC can accept 1-2 qualified anaesthesiologist every 3 months for fellowship.

Eligibility

    • The applicant must have completed medical post graduation in Anesthesiology with MD/ DNB/ Diploma or equivalent qualification from a MCI/ NMC recognized medical institute.
    • The Fellowship is open to candidates who have successfully completed residency training in an Anesthesiology.
    • Applicants shall acquire additional broad clinical experience in providing anesthesia for a wide variety of patients, including major head and neck cancer surgeries with state of art anesthesia facilities.
    • The candidate must have medical council registration.
