Fellowship Course in Adolescent Medicine

The Adolescent Medicine Fellowship is a 3-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship program that provides advanced training in the comprehensive healthcare of adolescents and young adults. The program focuses on the physical, emotional, and social health needs of adolescents, including preventive care, reproductive and sexual health, eating disorders, mental health, substance use, chronic disease management, LGBTQ+ health, and health-risk behaviors. Fellows receive multidisciplinary clinical training through inpatient and outpatient services, along with opportunities in research, quality improvement, advocacy, teaching, and community health initiatives. The fellowship prepares physicians for independent practice as adolescent medicine specialists and for leadership roles in clinical care, education, and research.

1. Register with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Match.
2. Submit the application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
3. Ensure submission of a complete application file for review by the fellowship selection committee.
4. Applicants are evaluated based on their residency training, clinical experience, academic background, and interest in adolescent medicine.
5. Selected candidates are contacted for interviews after individual review of completed applications.
6. Final selection is completed through the NRMP Match process.
7. Selected fellows complete required onboarding and credentialing procedures before starting the fellowship.
