Fellow of Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India (FSGEI)

The Fellow of Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India (FSGEI) is a professional society fellowship/distinction conferred by the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India (SGEI) to recognize professional expertise and contribution in gastrointestinal endoscopy. It is not a conventional academic fellowship with a fixed curriculum, classroom training, or defined study period. The recognition is based on the professional criteria established by SGEI and is intended to acknowledge professionals contributing to the advancement of GI endoscopy through clinical practice, education, training, research, and professional development.

1. There is no conventional course admission or entrance examination.
2. Candidates are considered for the FSGEI professional distinction according to SGEI's prescribed criteria.
3. The candidate must meet the society's required professional and experience criteria.
4. Application/nomination is processed through SGEI's recognition process.
5. The final conferment of FSGEI is by the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India.
6. It is not an ERAS, NRMP, or university fellowship admission process.
