Dr. Samuel George Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a non-minority college founded by Late Rev. Dr. Samuel George in 2001. The college offers M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics), M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis), M. Pharm (Pharmacology) and B. Pharm courses. Apart from the Pharma College, the management also runs engineering and paramedical colleges in Markapur, B. Ed, degree and junior colleges and a high school in Atmakur, Kurnool. The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, recognized by the AICTE and affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University.
