Dr BR Ambedkar Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital was established in the year 1990. The Institute is being Managed by Gautam Educational & Welfare Society, a Buddhist Minority Society registered under Society Registration Act 21,1860 as well as by Governing Council, Represented by galaxy of educationists and dedicated persons of social and religious fields. The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) Course run by the institute is Recognized by Ministry of Health Medical Education & Family Welfare Govt. of India, New Delhi and Recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi and the same has been notified in Gazette of India. The Institute is permanently affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya (Bihar).
