Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)

The Candidate should have passed 10+2 with M.P.C. or Bi. P. C. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Biology, Physics, Chemistry).

Pharm.D is aimed to give thorough knowledge & skills for pharmacy practice in India. The course is oriented towards the patient safety & therapeutic benefits. The curriculum includes five years of theoretical and practical exposure in clinical pharmacy hospital visit and one year (6th year) of internship in the hospital.

For admission to the professional course like Pharm.D, the State Government conducts an entrance exam called TS EAMCET every year in the month of April/ May. The students are given ranks based on the marks obtained in the test and percentage of marks at intermediate level 10 + 2 level.

70% of seats are filled through the TS EAMCET rank by the Convenor and 30% seats are filled by the management, based on the merit at Intermediate or as per the State government prescribed rules from time to time.
