Overview
Pharm.D in India is offered as post graduate course. The course focuses on specialisation in the field of pharmacy. The Pharm.D. courses offered by the college leads to entry into the pharmacy profession. Pharm.D is a qualification for registration to practice as a pharmacist for graduates with a bachelor's degree in any science or medical science that includes the required prerequisites. The M.Pharm degree is not an advanced follow-up degree for pharmacists. The scope of PharmD is immense. You have job opportunities in both the sectors. You can join the various pharmaceutical companies. Apart from this you can apply for the post of Drug Inspector. You need to attend the drug Inspector exam which is conducted by the UPSC.
