Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)

Overview

The Pharm.D program at SIST is a comprehensive Doctor of Pharmacy degree spanning six years. Introduced in India by the Pharmacy Council in 2008, it blends rigorous coursework in pharmaceutical sciences with clinical rotations and a full year of internship. The curriculum emphasizes direct patient care, clinical pharmacy practice, and healthcare collaboration. Graduates are well-equipped to serve as clinical pharmacists, contribute to drug safety, enter regulatory roles, and pursue academic or research careers. SIST supports this with its School of Pharmacy infrastructure, including MOUs for practical training and access to hospital pharmacy settings 

Eligibility

Admission generally based on aggregate performance in 10+2 and may involve centralized counseling or entrance exams, depending on SIT’s policy. Specifics for Pharm.D (e.g. entrance test, cutoff, counseling) should be confirmed with SIST admission office.
